Default increasing energy?

As I level up, my health increases, but my energy has been hovering around 30 the whole time, and that's with wearing tons of druid's armor.

Is there some way to increase the energy (on a lvl 19 R/Mo) that doesn't require wearing special things? My attack routine = 3 or 4 quick spells before I have to sit around and wait, even with Expertise:10, and it's quite limiting to always have to sit and stare at my ever-empty energy bar while I should be drinking potions or something to improve it... but there is no such way. My energy bar perpetually diappoints me, all game long, and I struggle to ignore that

Isn't there some way to increase your energy? Expertise is almost as high as it will go, and my attack routine still blows against these much harder enemies I face now.

Expertise won't give you any bonus on your monk skills, so you're out of luck there. (Guildwiki - Expertise reduces the energy costs of all non-spell skills from any profession at a rate of 4% per point. Attacks, Glyphs, Nature Rituals, Preparations, Stances, Shouts and Traps are affected. This also affects Necromancer touch skills.)

There's not too much you CAN do, Rangers are limited in energy because of Expertise. The best way to get around the energy problems is to A) use cheap skills or only a handful that compliment a mostly bow/spirit/stance build B) design a build where your secondary profession skills get the expertise bonus.

You can also carry a weapon/offhand like any other class (of course, you'll want to meet any req. for the bonus) with energy bonuses, but unless you're doing UW trapping or something, you won't find that as a viable option.

Basically, Monk is your secondary, and it should always be secondary. You might want one or two skills on your bar (definitely not mending), and even then, you shouldn't be the healing hand of the group.

try just bringing ressurect. it sucks, but that way you can focus on attacking or whatever it is you do.

learn to manage your energy better.

if you are having issues with an empty energy bar, i would seriously suggest reworking your build. part of making a build is taking limits like that into consideration. also, if you are quickly depleting your energy pool by using up your skills rapidly, then you should also learn to time your skill usage. change your "attack routine" so that you aren't wasting all of your energy immediately.

as a last bit of advice, 10 is a terrible point to leave your expertise at. here's a chart on how expertise works with energy costs:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/content...sts-id1154.php

my suggestion is to keep it at 9, which offers the same benefits for 5/10 energy cost skills. you shouldn't be spamming 15/25 energy cost skills to make it worth while anyway. if you are, maybe that's where your problem lies. either pump more into expertise or rework your build.

On a ranger at level 20 with all druids armor you energy will be 32 max, a wand or staff can be equipped for more energy if trapping. But to lessen energy put a ton in expertise.

Rangers need 200 attribute points more than any other class. Expertise is essential, but putting too many points into it means you'll have sub-par damage and a bad self-heal. Just bear it for now, when you have a few more attribute points at your disposal it will be easier.

By the way, use at least a minor rune for every single attribute. It helps a lot. You shouldnt be facing any energy problems as soon as you hit the 13-14 expertise mark.

Even so, I cant understand how you'd run out of energy unless you use attack skills like Power Shot and Penetrating Attack on every single bow attack. If thats what you're doing, it might be a good idea to take another look at your available skills.
